Executive Bio
John Marr was appointed as Tyler’s chairman of the Board of Directors, in addition to his role as CEO, in January 2017, after serving as the company’s president and CEO for 12 years. In May 2018, the role was changed to executive chairman of the board when Lynn Moore took on the CEO role. John joined Tyler through its 1999 acquisition of Munis, where he served as president (1994-2004).
